Game 5. FC PMBC 1-3 FC Darfur Dallas. This was our first competitive game that we played and boy did we surprise our opponents! For those in the know, FC PMBC were the divisional champions in our current  league and while we thought we could give them a good game, they never expected us to play as well as we did. After four minutes our then striker 'Pistol' Pete Thomsen gave us the lead with a rasping left foot shot. After ten minutes we scored our second after our old midfielder Jason Bruelo headed home from a corner. FC PMBC came back with a goal just after half time but Mal George secured the win with a late penalty goal.

Game 4. FC Darfur Dallas 2-0 Dallas-Plano. Our momentum couldn't last and we failed to win again until the tenth game of the season, which just so happened to be our first ever home win, Goals from Pete Thomsen and Sean Englewood gave us a great victory against the then league leaders.

Game 3. FC Darfur Dallas 8-1 Collin County. Two years later and we had our largest win to date. Seleyman Dallawi scored a hat-trick, Jack Silver scored two and Brad Hilbert, Robbie Ellis and Ernesto Pallas claimed a goal each. It was also Ernesto's first ever goal for the club. We were 8-0 up with ten minutes to play but two of our players suffered injuries leaving us to play with nine men and allowing Collin County a consolation goal.

Game 2. Rockwall Rockets 1-2 FC Darfur Dallas. In the semi-finals of the play-offs sponsored by a local Dallas firm we were drawn against the favorites for the trophy and despite battling brilliantly we went behind at the start of the second half. Jack Silver scored a header from a free kick on the hour and then we defended for our lives. In the last minute a 'Donny' Oweses cross found the unmarked Steve Harvey who powered a header through the legs of the Rockets 'keeper. A famous victory...

Game 1. FC Tijuana Sudan-Exiles 3-1 FC Darfur Dallas. Yes we lost but it was for a good cause and the sales for tickets and merchandise generated the largest ever payload which we sent to Darfur. Both players and supporters participated in good spirits and following the game we all socialized with a Tex-Mex barbecue. For the record our goal came from a Jack Silver shot.
