Defend Darfur Dallas

is a local volunteer advocacy chapter of the Save Darfur Coalition.  We are raising awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Darfur through community projects and events alongside other North Texas area groups dedicated to the end of genocide in Darfur and around the world.

Recent DDD News:
CNN's Genocide Documentary - "Scream Bloody Murder" is airing on December 4th at 9 p.m.  Here is CNN's summary of the show:  "CNN's Christiane Amanpour traveled to the world's killing fields to understand the world's indifference, even as courageous voices tried to 'Scream Bloody Murder.' A worldwide investigation and two-hour documentary on CNN/US and CNN International."  It should be really good, so we hope everyone gets a chance to watch!

The Save Darfur Coalition's Postcard
Campaign

Save Darfur is beginning the “Million Postcard” campaign where we inundate the new President with postcards during his first 100 days in office to remind him to keep Darfur a priority.  We need to have as many postcards as possible signed (both paper and online) by the end of the year as we can.  **Our postcards are here!** Please contact me to receive some, or to sign an e-postcard please click here, or click on the button below.  For more information visit the DDD Initiatives page.
